    fenka portfolio

yes, I managed to get around to get my portfolio site up and running!

    www.fenka.co.uk

Any comments would be greatly appreciated and if you have any problems with this, please post your screen resolution, browser version and OS.

(the normal/main pages will more or less use similar style and layout as the splash screen)

    many thanks in advance.

Very nice site. i like how you made the links pop up as HTML windows. Not many people like pop ups, but it shows you have skills in HTML also and a lot of Flashers can't appreciate that HTML is still important. Good job.

Pop-up windows are not the best thing from an interface-principles perspective, as they makes the pop-up pages look like add-ons that came later.
Another thought too is that pop-up blockers are getting more and more popular, and some public computers have them permanently enabled.

The whole thing could be simply incorporated into the main site, in a minimal fashion like the rest of the site.

But nice work, overall. The site looks clean and basic, as you've obviously intended it too. It works nicely.

nice one... I agree about the pop-up windows but this will be temporary as these will be put together properly on the proper site (as soon as I get around to doing that!).

So apart from the pop-up issues, is there anything I need to change, design-wise? Also is the interface displayed properly on your browser? It has not exactly been approved by standard WC3.

Design wise, I think your site is okay. you don't really have to change anything. And it showed up perfectly for me. The resolution and screensize were perfect.
