    ok, I downloaded the snake.swf.

First I tested it on my desktop. Since, there are no directions I had to figure this out from trial and error. I tried clicking the screen with my mouse during playback but this did not allow me to control the snake. After experimenting I discovered the arrow keys on my computer keyboard control the snake.

Relying upon keyboard input will not work in all cases. My device, a Sony Clie TH-55 does not have a keyboard, though some other Clies do. So this game will not work on my device.

Instead of relying upon a single interface, you might detect flash version and provide instructions as to how the user is to drive the snake.

If user has touch screen Flash player, like PocketPC, Sony Clies and Motorolla A90/925 then put the navigation controls on screen. The user can tap screen to control snake.

If user has numeric keypad, like FlashLite on phone, provide instructions so user knows which keys control navigation.

I tested out on Clie and your snake game seems to work fine. Performance is ok at all three speeds and levels. On screen interface works ok, though it was awkward to see the snake and watermelons appearing over the interface.

Change spelling of Speed: "heigh" to "high".

You might also visit some handheld communties for help testing your apps in addition to asking in Flash developer forums.

I think you could get this to work for FlashLite (Flash 4). Use numeric keys for navigation instead of arrow keys.

If you plan on distributing this online, I would suggest you make a credits screen with a link back to a mobile device compatible version of your site. Users can leave the game, go to your mobile device site and see other Flash mobile stuff you have or get the latest version of the snake game.

You might also want to provide some installation directions, or recommend a full screen viewer for PocketPC if you are not providing a PPC compatible exe.

    Here is an example:

cograts on getting your game out there.

Just thought I would mention that I played your snake game on my CLIE at the grocery store the other day. The color scheme did not work too well under the indoor florescent lighting. I could barely see the snake and pie wedges over the dark background. For a future version you might consider using more color cotrast and test your game in different lighting situations.

Your color scheme was fine under incandescent lighting in my office.
