i have had reports of it not working on mac but when i checked it on my laptop with os x it worked in both ie and safari. i anyone has problems please respond and tell me what operating system and browser version. thanks so much.

no problem. the code is a little messy but i think you can understand what i did. i have flash mx 2004 and used the media component. the page is modular and it loads a couple swf's into one movie. the media player is loaded from a swf called pod. the player also has the ability to play flv video. also the files arent really swf's they r mp3's i just named them swf to make it appear that they are swf but they r really mp3's because i use id3 to read there file names. i hope this work the file is terrible messy and does not have comments.

In IE 6, all updates (including FP7), I was redirected to a "Flash player Required"...complete with a broken image.

So, two things:

One: I do have Flash player 7.
Two: ...the specific update version of Flash should be specified.
