is there any action that i can aply to a button so that it plays only specifyc frames (useing no actions on the frames whatso ever, but only on the button), like gotoAndPlay (1to10,14to21) () or something like this?????????? if yes and u know pls tel me. thanks!!!!

No. You got to have some script on a frame or on a movieclip.

what ai whant is that at a clik of a button on a time line, the movie plays lets say from frame 10 to frame 15 and after imediately after this from frame 16 to frame 20. can this be done???

from frame 10 to 15 and imediatly after this from frame 30 to 40 (so i want to skip a few frames)

from button gotoframe 10 and play to 15 then use frame code to jump to frame 30 and play until frame 40 with a stop() action
