Please check what I have done for my site.
I have been noticing that when I view my site, the animations seem really choppy and slow. I'm wondering if I have too many things going on at the same time or if my processor is just slow (celeron 797Mhz). I know its not my internet connection, I just got DirecWay. So, if you know why the animations are slow and choppy, please let me know. My business kind of depends on it... Let alone my job.
Woah! Almost forgot to give you the URL! lol

Also, tell me what you think of the style and what I could do to improve it.
Please keep in mind. This site is way far from being done. So if you get a bad link, don't say I didn't warn you.
UPDATE!
The HTML main page is up and the Forum, Chat, and Enter Flash Site buttons work.
The FLASH main page is also up and the Forum, Chat, and Enter Low Speed Site buttons work.
I have changed the animation in the middle to a much simpler yet effective slide show. It has made it so the whole page doesn't seem choppy.
The index page, however, is still the same and I haven't found a way to make it less choppy.
The Forum and Chat Room are now functional. Go ahead and test them out.
The software I'm using is: SWiSHmax, and Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004.
Thanks for checking my site.
More updates on the way!

UPDATE!
Okay! The temporary version of the game pages will have to do for now. I know they look really... Not that great but its going to take a while to get every single game on to a flash page. I thought it was going to be easy but I was wrong... Way wrong. Its gonna take a really long time.
I wish I had another person that could help me with this stuff but Galaxy Games hasn't made enough money so I can't hire anyone.
Anyway, if you're just seeing this post, please tell me if you like the site, what you don't like about it, and what you think I should do to change it.
Thanks.
Galaxy Games
UPDATE!
Almost done now. Work has begun on the actual game pages. Its going to take a long time to get every single game into its own page with as much detail we want but it will be worth it in the end.
We are now using a new software to help design our pages. Dreamweaver MX 2004 is proving to be a valuable product. It will, at least, make our work easier.

A suggestion, develop a more concise logo for your site, or use the electron nuclear logo on everything and drop the large galaxy games atop every page.
Split the games up into genres, currently you have to scroll a long way to see the listing of games you have in your inventory list, and I only looked at the xbox stuff, I am sure the PS2 list is longer.
Also, it is difficult to realize once you move down the list, which add to cart button is for which game, I know it is usually the button below the game, however, you have no visual cues to reinforce that idea.
The selection for the gaming system of choice needs to be in a smaller font, and stress the use of your chat forum. No need to just dump it on the side. If you drop the bevel on the game system fonts, you could make them smaller and use the reclaimed space to describe more about your site and why people should buy from you and not elsewhere.
There are free fonts that will match the gamesystems you have listed, use those fonts and animate them with the same effects with swish and your site will look much more commercial and validated.
Not trying to nitpick, but you asked, and I think with a few changes you will have a Master's Site young padawan.

Thanks for your reply.
I was beginning to think that my post was invisible.
I apperciate what you said and we are wotking on a more elaborate scheme. The game pages will be more functional because we are now using Dreamweaver to design them. We will also be working on making the "home" pages more user friendly. But, please keep in mind that Galaxy Games is still in its beginning phase. There will be many changes to come. All I can say is to keep checking back. Its going to take a really long time to get everything to where we want it to be.
Again, thanks for replying.
