The video and 3d stuff was good. Content not bad. Not really feeling the overall design though.

I wouldn't call it a cool site. It just seems like he had a ton of cool element ideas and dumped it on the site. The animations in particular are NOT fluid. And the logo looks weird ,espcially with a heavy dropshadow.

Ew now that’s ugly lol. The intro is so Billy Busy not really a rip but inspired by, so we can leave it at its been done. The fact that it’s obviously a poser doesn’t help him at all either (poorly animated poser at that). The site as a whole excluding the animations looks like someone got a free pack of Photoshop layer styles and tried to use them all. Don’t like the navigation much either.

The photography section’s animation for the page flips is buggy and hard to use. The photography itself needs some editing but that’s up to the artist I guess but if it was me I would have done something to them like I don’t know maybe MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD… The first picture is horribly over-exposed, you can argue that he’s trying to pull off a warmer feeling but any editor knows that giant lens flare isn’t going to do it. The second picture well don’t people usually blur the background when trying to create the feel of motion that could have just been the shot but if that’s the case a blurry picture goes in the trash. The third picture is under saturated and has very little detail. To summarize it his photography is very hobbyist at best flat, little color, and missing contrast and at the end of it he uses THX instead of thanks that’s very unprofessional.

He needs to add swift to his list of programs because I have a hard time believing that the animations were done in anything other than that. If he is using Maya and 3dmax like he says well he has wasted over five grand on programs he can barley use. On a good note I love his drawings they are top notch. But lets face it this is where you notice the difference between artist and designers. A designer can be an artist this is true but an artist usually isn’t a designer and I think that’s what this mans problem is. He lacks a lot of base skills a designer must have in my opinion, but its still an ok site better then I could do but it needs a good spit polish before it makes another attempt at being a Flash Kit Cool Site.
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

That "page flip" navigation is not user friendly at all - hate that
