    Hi Welshman,

I did not have your font but I duplicated the best I could with what I had and the file size is 11k now for the opening page... This was just to give you an idea how much file size you can save if you use vector instead of jpegs. :-)

    hi MsPamela

    hope your ok.
Thanks for that i see you had ago. Whas this all done in swish or a vector program like illustrator. In the main movie i change the main large text from an image to swish text and this improved a little, the animated stars etc are done in swish. ALso looking to redo some items, make the height more flat rectangled style shape, and will use the numbers as the animated navigation rather than a static image.

    cheers si

have had a go and well it seem ok, but just realised that the back ground(purple flowers) are not part of the swish file, but the html background.Doh! the loader is placed on transparent. doh! again. Will edit the jesters text thought like i did with the main large movie one, and get rid of the .jpeg version. Also will have ago at the main movie backgrounds in swish, theres five and if i can do it hopefully that should reduce the size, also use illy to do the 3d numers for the menu and export as a vector, or firstly have ago in creating them in swish.

managed to create the number(s) via swish well one at Least

    CLICK CLICK

the original one was a png imported so i can see the image isze, but the swish five is a mixture of stuff all group into a shape, but it does not have its own property so cannot tell the size to see the difference. In fact have placed the swish number and did a .swf file then swopped the swish no. for the phg then did another .swf file, then hovered over both and the swish no. showed 226 bytes and the png no. showed 30.3 KB wow difference.

Yes ! that is what I was trying to tell you since you first showed us the site. I thought if you saw the difference you might be more inclined to try your hand at using SWiSH for your graphics! You can do it!

I copied the letters, which I had converted to shapes, then I chose NONE for the Fill and made the LINE size 5. Then I grouped them and changed the alpha value to 50.
