I don´t get the Princible of this Software

Hi

I try to use the Software but I don´t get ist right.

I want do make a simple Animation
1.)
Two lines close together which should start to seperate

so I beginn to draw two lines close together
then I use the add event function
in this function I use "move to"
I select the line I want to draw and the next window opens
in this window I move the line to the position I want it to go and press "record position"
then I press "Preview"
I can see my now seperated lines go together instead seperating and after they gone together they separate
What did I do wrong

I just want to so a simple animation of an PCR (polymerase chain reaction)

Your close.

in your event place it first with a PLACE command and record that position then move it with a move command..

Also turn the looping off in your movie settings.
