If I were to make a character walk, what would be the easiest way to go about it?
do I have to make every movable aspect a symbol? ie- legs,arms etc

there are 3 ways

1:make everything a symbol and move each one- this one is good when the character is very simple, and the movement is easy to do. like some cartoonish characters that only move the legs forward and backward.

2:frame by frame- animate each frame to make him move

3:dont show the legs while the character is walking, and make him "bump" accros the screen. I use this one since im not a good frame by frame animator, and the first one sometimes looks unreal if the character is too complex
