When is a flash website not a flash website?

    When it's nearly all DHTML.

I would appreciate some feedback on how this thing loads up on slower connections since I only have a T1 connection to test it on. I've tried adding a preloader, but it loads too fast to see how the preloader works on my machine.

Thanks in advance (hey that rhymes!)

The layout is not that great. The imagery is wonderful, nicely done graphics but the navigation is all over the place.

hmm I was trying to emulate the MAC OS9 gui - maybe I should go back to the drawing board and redesign which a more user friendly interface?

Oh well, thanks anyway villain2, your comments are appreciated.

Well, the idea is you have windows all over the place. For a website, that doesn't make things easy to find. It seemed cluttered. Just organize it more and it'll work.

i agree, a little organization will go a long way. but great graphics and a really cool cocept. i did see the working preloader by the way. you don't see too much all DHTML sites like this, so this stands out. however, i'm not sure about using the actual OS9 icons/logo. i think it would be cool if you came up with your own logo, and applied it in an apple like manner, to really create MykeOS.
