I'm clicking symbols without even know what's happening.

The site's sometimes very nice, sometimes like 1999 all over.

It certainly took a while to figure out how the site works.

i think you are supposed to go to bungie.net and figure out how to decrypt the symbols.

some people just dont have a life...

BTW, nothing wrong from a flash perspective, pretty cool

bottom left symbols make you go left or right on the cylinder. Each cynlinder when you begin is the beginning, and if you click on the picture that shows up it will take you into the next cylinder of data.

You can move back and forth through the level of cylinders by clicking on the symbols on the bottom right which are go out and go in (respectively)

This is supposed to give you an idea of how to detect and understand alien technology on your own and also give you an idea of gameplay in Halo 2. Those who can't figure out this site may not have an easy time understanding how to get through Halo 2.

    Hope that helps,

Looked unfinished. Nav was upp the walls. How am I supposed to get info about this game if I have no clue were to click.

The fun part is that someone actually got paid doing this.

I dont think this worked at all.

Is it just me or have I not spotted any 3D effects yet. (Or anything close for that matter.)
As for the site, it's not crisp and lacks balance and usability. Navigation is horrible. I doubt people who are interested in Halo 2 want to be intrigued even more by a cryptic navigation, nor do I think people who aren't all that are interested are going to be captivated. It could only be for the worse.

I think the site is a good idea for hardcore fans but not for the average gamer. My PC is having a tough time running the site because of the fullscreen. Although the atmosphere would have suffered with a smaller size window. In my oppinion http://www.halo2.com.au/ is a much better site in terms of everything else but the idea.

The idea I think here was to make the site like a game itself, but I don't think it comes across well.

I think they could have hired a FI or 2A or even someone from FlashKit to do this 100x better.
