impossible to read - get rid of the glow or something on the text

I like the design. But way too small to read.
Also, extremely slow on 56k with no pre-loading. ugh
-
is there a way to scale it all up without losing picture quality in photoshop? if so, how. also, i made some changes.. is this any better for the text? - disregard the bg.Link

You are not your job. You are not how much money you have in the bank. You are not the car you drive. You are not the contents of your wallet. You're not your ****ing khakis.

its also missing some pictures or something graphical.
Make it more interesting
-
so the first one is better? what should i work on? and like i said, whats an easy way to just scale it all up in photoshop? i'll try adding some more graphics to it too.
-
sorry, i only saw the first one before.
second is much better.
The photoshop img you cant scale and keep the quality, cause it works with pixels.
About the text:
try using pixelfonts and make sure theyre positionned right on the pixel
-
which ones are the pixel fonts? i know thats messing up my text somehow.. but even if i put them on x/y points without decimals it still sorta blurs depends on its location. how can i fix this?

make sure the font hasn't been stretched, and is set to 100% x 100%. if you used photoshop for the text (for layout's sake i hope), a pixel font would have to be set to "crisp" to avoid anti-aliasing. i do like the second one better...it's a real clean look. but as others have said, way too small. on my screen i could fit about 20 of those at a time, so it's definitely hard to read. one other comment, avoid the centered text. only amateurs center text, IMO. it doesn't give the viewer a strong line as formed by left justified, or even right justified text. also, some pixel fonts blur when centered or full justified.

thanks, also - yea the centered text sort of looks bad. is there a way to "expand align" it like in ms word? it aligns it to the right and the left side - expanding the spaces if needed.

yeah it's called full justify...the farthest option to the right in flash...but keep in mind some pixel fonts don't appear crisp when full justified, if you're thinking about using pixel fonts.
-
how about in photoshop? and yea im thinking about using the pixel fonts. So anyone else like the second design?
-

it's the same in photoshop...you can change the justification in the paragraph palette.
but when you do the site, use flash for the text, trust me.
-
ok i'll try the flash text
