    Is it possible to crumple something in swift???

    ok... lets say i have a car, crashing into a van at high speen... can i make it so that the mesh can be flexiable so that i can bend it and crumple it like a can?

    if you wanna animate the crushing effect then the short answer is no.

    Unless you want to do it in slow motion that kind of thing is going to happen very fast so you would only need 2 or 3 frames at the most in order to get a good representation of the cars being crushed.

    If that's the case then I would recommend just creating 2 or 3 versions of the cars being crumpled then hiding them on the appropriate frames. It would be a little bit of work, but you would have to do it anyway to get the crumpled version of the car. Just start out with the pristine car and save several versions of it as you get to the final crumpled car.

    Does that make sense?
