movie resize

when you resize a movie it moves it in from the right side and from the bottom, is there anyway to have it move in from the left and the top? I want to cut out some of the top of my movie and cut out some of the left side, is there a way to just resize it and remove those parts?

Not sure if you can resize from the top and left. I read something earlier that with "onion skin" turned on it is possible to movie the entire contents of the stage at once. So make the stage your desired size and try the following.

On the bottom left of the timeline there are 3 buttons used for onion skinning. Select the one on the right that is used for selecting "multiple frames". You should be able to select all of your frames and move everything without things getting out of whack.

I haven't tried this so let me know if it works.
