iPod's have more bad than good!
I'm tired of iPod. I have had one for 1 and abit years and to be honest they still haven't improved enough for me to think about getting a new one.
Thats why i'm thinking along the lines of:
This little fella has 30 hours battery life with a 20gb HDD.
Let's face it, Sony does everything better!

thats awesome if it really does last for 30. That would do me for the week. I'd definitely take the hours over extra HD.

You need an update on the recent minidisc evolution.

Meh. I can't complain about my iPod. It serves me well as a voice recorder for meetings, a portable hard disk, and a jukebox. The battery life never really held me back from anything.
One of the big selling points for me is iTunes. Fantastic piece of software.

You can upload mp3's onto a 1 gig disc. Were comparing interchangeable discs to a HDD so the comparison is subjective...

Is it really THAT hard to come home and drop it in the cradle at night?
This has become a forcive habit for me, along with plugging in my cell phone, and syncing the Blackberry.
Incidentally, I agree with PAlexC about the iTunes software. That thing rocks. This is heresy coming from a devout PC user, too.

yeah i know, other than a long road trip why would I need the battery to last longer than 8 hours. I have never had a problem with the battery, just plug the iPod in every night. It's also my alarm clock...

I actually just got my first iPod a few weeks ago(recent surplus in cash flow). It immediatly became the other thing I grab omw out. It also became habit to dock it along with my phone when I get home. I used a belkin fm adapter on a recent trip to cali which only worked well on the highway. I'm curious to see how apples works. I can however tell you that he in-ear headphone suck.

I'm having to buy a new battery and i'm making a ghetto battery pack just so i can have a few hours extra battery life on my iPod.
It is pants for travelling.... i have 6 months of it coming up - anyone want to trade my iPod?
hehe
