Button With Database Integration For Catalogue Site.

Hi. I am putting a 206 page catalogue on the web. We are creating a page by page catalogue view using Flash that viewers can rollover the products to click to go to a page generated from a database where they can purchase the product. We are making each page its own .swf file and drawing it externally into a master .swf. The button that corresponds with the product/description is basically just a invisible button until you rollover and it turns into a border around the product/description.

I have 2 questions.
How can I generate buttons using image map coordinates and product ID #s? Perhaps using an external XML file?
How can I make 2 buttons act like one? Example the product image is in a separate area from its description but both areas would link to the same product page. So when you rollover the product rollover and rollover with the description rollover.

Also we would prefer to use Flash 5 to create the individual page .swfs.
