Getting rid of rounded edges of lines?

When using the line tool, how can you make it so that the lines don't have rounded edges?

Use hairline.

But hairline only allows a very thin line, or am I wrong?

if you want them thick, then use rectangle shapes instead. or use modify>convert lines to fills and cut the edges.
