    Look and Feel

I am new to flash world. So please bare with me. I am trying to make my own homepage with flash. So I have came up with 2 versions. Please note that the buttons are still not working.

    Site 1
    (No Preloader)
    http://www.wattsupnow.com

    Site 2
    (Has Preloader)
    http://www.wattsupnow.com/test/test2.html

My wife likes site 1. So I would like to find out from the pro's which looks better and flows better. ANY COMMENTS are welcome.

    Thanks
    Wattsup

PS How is the look and feel of the pages???

I guess the difference bet. the 2 is the layout of the buttons. I go for the second one becasue in the design sense, 1/3, 3/4 rule makes sense and looks good then centralising everything.i like how the menu flows down too. you got a spelling er- PORTFOLIO.

sorry to disagree with white teeth, but i actually prefer the first one.

can't say why really- i just like the lay out. and the mouseover effect on the buttons

although i like the animation of the drop down menu in the other one i prefer to be able to see what is there without having to hover over the menu button.

and i'm sure you already know- but you really do need hte pre-loader- took a while to load here (on broadband).

i like the design alot though.

    YES!

Definitely need a preloader. I use em' all the time. The 3 Flash movies I have over at deviantArt use preloaders as well.
