I'm a newbie using Swish 2.0. Would love feedback on my first movie! Thanks

I love the overall look you were going for with the umbrellas and the Geisha girl.
Couple of things:
There is a noticalbe delay when you click on your navigation text for the items to show in the main body of your site.
When you click menu, the menu comes in, but does so after such a delay, you do not realize that your selection is what causes the menu to appear.
The directions came up so late that I thought you had not yet completed that navigation selection. I selected directions, and waited patiently for the directions information to display.
All that being said, if you can decrease the time it takes for the selections to appear, that would be great and increase your site effectiveness.
Also, I am running at 1024 by 768, you may want to reduce your image sizes down to fit that resolution, unless of course, people in your neck of the woods are running much higher resolutions on larger than 19 inch monitors.
Also, just so you know, your font size can be reduced for the main text heading area, it is overpowering the rest of your site.
Just a few ideas to play with, other than than I think your site has been designed well, with good navigation overall.
"It isn't working!"
"Hmmm...Did you jiggle it!?!"

Thanks for the feedback, I'm working on my second site and have found ways to greatly reduce the loading time of my first site, the navigation buttons should work much better too once the loadmovie speeds up. Your comments about reducing image size are right-on. Thanks for taking the time to review!

I have to agree with everything that Dalan told you. :-) But I would like to add a couple of things.
If you open your EXPORT menu and mark 100%, then when you export your html file it will automaticly resize your screen to whatever the viewers screen is. I would also take out the scroll bar as it is not needed then. Here is the script you would need for that:
(be sure to change the colour to whatever your BG colour is)
<STYLE><!--
body
{
scrollbar-face-color:#000033;
scrollbar-shadow-color:#000033;
scrollbar-highlight-color:#000033;
scrollbar-3dlight-color:#000033;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#000033;
scrollbar-track-color:#000033;
scrollbar-arrow-color:#000033;
}
--></STYLE>
Something that will greatly help your file size is getting rid of the raster graphics. The graphics you are using can easily be drawn in SWiSH. The Geisha girl is adorable and you could do so much more with it if you would draw them and animate them in Swish.
The background I noticed is also a raster. There are specialty fonts that you can use to make a background very similar to this and it would again, help your file size and give your site a very clean and crisp look that rasters just can not accomplish.
When you do have to use a photo in your file, be sure to check the compression box in SWiSH because it does not automaticly do this for you. You can usually set it to about 60 and without distortion.
Looks like a nice place! Maybe I will be in London next Spring so I just might try it out. :-)
