Tough flash problem

This is a pretty basic concept, but I c an't figure out how to do it.

I want to display a picture of a map.

Along one freeway on the map, I want the user's mouse to control a magnifying glass from left to right like a pong paddle.

In the magnifying glass, the image should be twice as large as it is on the map image (taken from the original larger - more detailed - map file)

This will allow the user to read the names along the freeway even though they are too small on the displayed map image.
