so i started this little file explorer flash thing, like windows explorer but in flash

but just text looked kinda plain
so i added some icons

but they look kinda cheesy

i made my icons by taking a screen shot of windows explorer, isolate the icons and save as png
i imported the pngs into flash and made them movie clips

should i try to redraw them in flash?
how would you make icons?
