    Pixel art in flash - is it possible?

    Well that is as far as my question goes - is it possible and if so - how is it done?

    I don't think that its possible. Since I am a pixel artist i was disapointed to find out you couldnt draw pixel art in flash.

    If you want to make pixel art dont go download some other program just use MS Paint(if your running windows) and zoom in and do your work pixel by pixel. (90% of the time this causes better looking graphics)

    Thanx for the answer. It's sad that there's no pixel art option in flash, I thought there was. Anyway, I'ma use paint or ps.

    Flash is a vector graphics program. No pixels actually exist in vector, just points and curves. You need a raster/bitmap graphics program (Photoshop, Fireworks, MS Paint) to do pixel art because, well, pixels exist there.

    You're right ... flash is vector based. But you could probably just create a bunch of 1px x 1px boxes to simulate pixel art ... not that I'd recommend doing that.
