    buttons for websites

    I have been thinking why some websites use icons as buttons, some just plain text and some box out the text. Share your views.

    design is a matter of opinion.. hence 98% of the internet if filled with ugly ass pages.

    -edit: that's only my opinion of course

    I'd say some use plain text for links as it loads quicker than an image link. I use either dependent on the project.

    It's whatever floats your boat really.
