Aligning diagonal line BG in layout with same BG pattern tiled in HTML doc

I’ve got a layout that uses the diagonal line pattern for it’s background. This patten is spaced tightly at every 3px.

To continue this BG thruought the entire page I’ve created a image I intent to tile the BG of my HTML doc. With. This image is 12px X 400px. This tiles the BG of the HTML doc. Seemlessly with no problem.

Where my problem is occuring is where the BG of the images used in my table meet the BG of the HTML doc. The lines are missaligned by a pixel or two, but every adjustment I make seems to not address the problem, in fact, they seem to compound the issue.

The confusing part about this is that my table is also 400px in height, and when I include a marker in both images to marker lines up.

    Anyone got a clue?

    See attached>>>

that has to do with the place where you cut the line bg image. since i don't know how big your image is, best thing you can do is post the gif or png image file here and i'll cut it for you. i'll then explain how it's been done.

but without seeing the file is hard to explain.
