control one swf (root) from another swf loaded on top

    Hello.

Is there a way to control a root swf from an external swf loaded on a higher level. For example:

I have a swf (1) that loads an external swf (2) on top of part of it that is the navigation for the first swf (1). I tried using the _root commands but nothing worked...I probably have it all wrong....

    Thanks!

If you loaded it on another level and not in a container clip, and want to address your first .swf, you would have to use _level0, rather than _root.
