    The-VeryBest.Com v9

    http://www.the-verybest.com/
    Personal/Portfolio site
    SwishMax/FlashMX
    116kb initial download.
Still tons to do, but you'll get the general idea.
Just uploaded the 3d works page.
Kindof proud of the gallery setup.
Also the new mask shape for the scrollpane.

Looking for a few thought about the general feel of the site,
    colors
    navigation
chat...if you didn't want to post, can the user figure out how to get past it?
Do you think I should fade the gui, while chat is in the sign in mode?

    tag line
    about statement
Anything else I haven't thought of.

    Thanks in advance.

    >Some interesting graphics and clearly a lot of work.
    >not too sure about the font (hard to read) and colours (purple/orange) - both look a bit dated.
    >Under Portfolio (and other sections)> would be nice if the "Portfolio" didn't scroll with the content.
    >I would try and integrate the preloader with frame of the site somehow - it looks too thrown in.

The preloader pixel font is unaligned, but is probably the best looking part of the site. The fonts are really horrible and from a designer perspective, the colors and graphic combinations you have used are nothing short of catastrophic. With a few color and image changes however you could get a nice looking design without having to redo the layout. The buttons specifically, the background image and fonts. Good luck.
