[Resolved] Transparent painting?

Hey everybody, happy new year.

I'm trying to do a sort of glow effect around something, but still want to see through the glow to the background. I was just wondering if there was some way to make the paint be transparent?

I'm using Flash MX.

if you have photoshop you can just add a glow to the immage then paist it on the rollover
