Portfolio Site [www.neel-patel.co.uk]
Hi all
Just finished creating my online portfolio. You can find it at www.neel-patel.co.uk
Hope you like it. If not please let me know in which ways you think it should be changed (I hope you don't tell me to change the whole website!!!).
Oh.. I've had a few problems with the music not loading - did anyone else have the same problem?
Thanks
Neel

very nice site as a whole, i like it a lot. the build animations are very fast, and still smooth, which i like. i think the button colors might be a bit too much, too bright. i'd go with something more like you have after you've clicked on it, which plays of the colors of each page's graphics. the only other thing i noticed was that your splash page graphic was too wide for my 1024 x 768 screen, which is about average these days. since it doesn't serve any other purpose but to be eye candy, i'd make it smaller, because horizontal scrollbars are never fun.

Thanks for your comments and advice. I was thinking of changing the colours for a while, but never did... think I may now.
With regards to the splash screen - i had a few problems as i wanted the banner to go from one end of the screen to the other, no matter what res u were in (up to 1280x1024). Do you know how i can get rid of or disable the scrollbars?
Thanks again
Neel

I know there some CSS you can use to hide the scrollbars, but i think that only works when they're not needed. If I was you, I'd fade your graphic to a solid color, or colors, that you could use to create a graphic that you'd put in a table or set as a background image is CSS, and have it on repeat. Then have your real graphic be about 950 px wide or so, justified left on the screen. The background graphic would flow into the main one, and repeat until it fills the users browser. This would also solve the problem I see now, looking at it on 1600 x 1200, where the graphic doesn't make it all the way across.
thanks for the kind words on my site by the way!
