First impressions are it's nice. Clean, easy to read, easy to navigate. The menu is clever, but personally I'd dump the JavaScript hiding bit as it's just pointless - as much as it looks cool, in the interest of a decent user interface, you should loose it.

The only one thing I would say is use some blue in the rest of the page - the grey is nice, but it could do with a bit of colour.

Do you mean dump the menu hiding on the left panel? or the fact that the actual entries hide?

The reason the posts are like that is so when people link to me they can to say

That way it hides the entries around it but not the one they just linked to. People are then forced to see other entries also but its not too overpowering.

I'll work with the colors a bit.
