No not cheesy....... as a template it could be used. But as it is, the photos are too poor of quality. On the whole, I think it could be expanded to actually be a rather quaint site. Neat theme idea!

    Thanks for sharing.

A couple of things you should change, then it would be a great site.

I have no problem with the cheetah background, but if it is going to be a major focus, get rid of the black semi-transparent black panels, use something less tech, wood crates, bamboo, something more natural, less tech...then put your stencil menu on those. By the way, many times stencils are not very clean, and not always the exact same color, so use varying degrees of color on your stencil text.

Lastly, try not to use more than two or three fonts max in your designs. Because your site contains less reading text, you may want to use that African text you used on the upper banner throughout the site for all text except for on the menus.

You want every element of your design to be in the same era and same location.

Good start, with a few modificaitons, it will be even better.

Yeah that sounds good. I like sticking with one theme. I rushed this one a bit much. It started out being a site for a furniture store. You know, leopard skin couches ect..

But it turned out looking more like a safari site. And they would need a website to get their customers, since these safari places are way out in the sticks. I went overboard with the compression so it made the quality not so good in the pics.

I just got back from a long vacation so I'll get back into fixing this. Thanks for the replies.

    Happy Saint Paddy's Day.

One thing I would fix is to align the text. Nice job on your first template though. Do you have an interest in selling templates or just making them for fun? I visit templatemonster.com often for ideas.

    Shifty,

I think tiny mike is frustrated with your navigation as he had to search for the menu button on the right side of your page, because you start us out with the navigation on the left side of the page.

As you redesign your template, that may be something you want to address. Your navigation should be simple enough to follow so that your visitors do not get lost. It is just fine to place your navigational aid anywhere on your site, however, if you are going to be moving them from place to place, have them stand out a bit so that we can find them.

I wanted to keep with an animated menu bar, but I might just keep everything on the left side. I find that very helpful on other sites so why not mine . Thanks for the feedback.

Let us know when you update your site. Would like to see how you effectively make your changes.

As you revisit and tweak things, it is sometimes helpful to see what changes are made, and how they impact the site.

    Good luck, keep us posted.
