WildFX Pro won't open
I'm waiting to hear back from Wildform about my problem, but just thought I would post a question here in case anyone can advise.
I recently replaced my hard drive with a bigger one. I used the utility that came with the new drive to copy the contents of the old drive (exact copy) to the new drive. Everything seem to go fine and the computer runs fine.
Today I noticed my WildFX Pro and Flix 4 Pro programs no longer open. I get an error on opening that says something about making sure I log into Windows windows with the same information I registered with. Not sure what that means.
In Windows 2000, I had to specify a name for the new drive. My best guess is that when I labeled the volume for the new hard drive, I called it something different than the old drive. I suspect that is what my Wildform programs are seeing and a security is being invoked. Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact label I had on the old drive.
Does anyone know what effect it would have if I uninstall and reinstall both of these programs? Just need some advice to get up and running again as quickly as possible. I've got one video project I'm doing now that sorely needs some WildFX text. Thanks for any help.

Hi.
Uninstall and reinstall.

Going to try that this evening. I will also have to reinstall the Power FX add-on for WildFX Pro. I was anxious to get the project moving yesterday, while waiting to get WildFX fixed, so I downloaded a trial of SwishMax, but was disappointed to find that it does not save the Alpha Channel on uncompressed AVI's. Definately got to get WildFX up and running again.
Jonathan_B, Thank you for responding. I appreciate it.
