If it wasnt marketing a product Ide say it is an amazing advancement for the comunity in general. But I for one am a big fan of usability and Im sure this site is a big pain in the ass to people that are non-web savy, people that dont keep their computers up to date, people that really dont understand how to use their pop up blocker, and people that dont have the proper plug in enabled "I would assume this is dhtml". But just as a piece to make the flash comunity scream I would say its an amazing success. This is just quality work what can I say.
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

Advertising is all about getting eyeballs looking your way and ideally -- as is this case with this fine piece of work -- looking at something cool.

I could see Apple putting something like this to very good use ... if usuability issues aren't insurmountable.

    Vary innovative site!

I came across this site on another forum. It is one of the coolest things I've seen done, creatively, with a website.

edit: you have to allow popups for the site to work. There is no adverts or anything.

two threads for two windows eh? lol.

Well since I didn't post a comment in the first thread. i'll just say that this is very well done. Although I think that only us designers would appreciate something like this. Your average user wouldn't even begin to understand the amount of hard work this took to make.

O ya, It's like a concept car. REALLY cool and high tech, but costs to much to make and the general public isn't ready for it yet.

In my imaginary world wide web, all sites would be "concept cars", though. hmmm I wonder how a flash based google would be.

Search the forums before you post please. This has been posted already.

There are instructions on naming threads and searching for sites in the guidelines for this forum, you have to allow for the stupidity of the vbulletin search engine. A search for dstrict.com/z107/ returned the original thread.

    Thanks.
