How to load a swf file

It's pretty obvious, I don't understand how Flash really works. I have a very good quality, but small swf file of a client talking. I would like to load and play the swf which I can't seem to figure out how to do directly.

I placed a dummy avi file in Flix Pro and instructed the that the swf file be played afterwords and this worked, sort of. There are not any controls.

Somewhere someone mentioned a "load movie" command - might that be the answer?

... or in the Help there is a New / Existing swf tab which I do not see in the demo. Perhaps the new or existing swf is for a different product?? .... oh wait I found it - view / create player page and its disabled in the demo. Maybe what I need however.

    Hi.
For more information on Load Movie check out our load movie tutorials at:

You may want to specifically check out:

You may also want to check out our software, Linx, which will import any Wild FX effect, and which allows you to move, scale, crop and manipulate multiple SWFs. Linx does not require the use of Load Movie. For more information on Linx go to www.wildform.com/linx.
