my second flash site, A Graphic Designers Portfolio

I've been teaching myself flash for about 5 months now, and I finally finished my second site. It was a lot of hard work, and it seems like there should be an easier way to accomplish a lot of what I did. I know my lack of planning in the begining conributed to this, but I was hoping to get some tips on how to properly structure a movie like this. For that reason, you can download the .FLA at

Any feedback anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated to this flash newbie.

    THanks!

heh man... its nice to see the work of those self taught... I am as well self taught... my suggestion to you right off the bat is to up your frame rate... while increasing file size, it just makes for smoother animation. I wont really go below 24fps anymore. i would say to make the transparent panels that slide out when you click the link hot as well.... the first thing i want to do on your site is to click on those panels... they look as though they should have a mouse action of some sort....

if you would like so see some of my work...

portfolio site im still building but the links are previous work..

    Pretty good site actually!

I may find everything a little to BIG for me, I like a little more discreet looking elements, but it's quite fine!

The construction gallery identity is really nice too!!
    Keep it up!
