I thought my site took a long time to load. Worth the wait. How about some smooth R&B grooves

    Mmm. nice.

I would have definately lost interest waiting though. I haven't had to wait that long since dial-up! How about a bit of content on that pre-loader, eh?

I like the colour choices. Basic, and that's alright.

The content didn't really interest me, so I left pretty quick...

    nice stuff

I was bursting with anticipation, however, could not wait that long for the content to preload.

If you give us more of a hint, or something to examine during the preload, you will get more visitors staying until the preload finishes.

With a title like 1200 warriors, I can only imagine that you have some Japanese swordplay (Seven Samurai, Last Warrior), or some men on horseback following William Wallace (Braveheart), or maybe a whole bunch of gunslingers coming to take over a small town (Magnificent Seven, so if you some simple artsy images of what may be inside, people will stay, and I definetly would come back...cause now I am really curious.

    thanks for everyones feedback

toddtapia: we will be including r&b mixes and production work soon

zith:thanks on the advise on the preloader, the site is mainly for thoose who have interest in our music and want to know about us

dalan66:i understand the preloader is a little long, i might put some of our video footage or i might just split the site up

but 1200warriors is not nothing as you describe
this site is for the music industry and dj's and remixers and producers, its not for your average joe ,1200 comes from the turnatble "technincs 1200" series
    warriors is our style

    thanks for everyones feedback

That is one of the nicest swish sites I have seen. Nice work.

On the other side, the load time was unbearable, and I'm on a T1.

Do you have a static html version for dial-up users?

    thanks
i will take your advise and iam on it, iam a newbie to this so it will take me a day or 2 to figure out, between the site and my music it takes up lots of my time ,but i already posted help on the swish forum, but i just figure that everyone has fast connection these days, well,,,, at least faster than dial up,, as you can see that has been the only issue of my site, the loading speed,
    so thanks for the suggestion
i will be giving a update soon

I am glad I bookmarked your site. I visited today, and the load times are much better than they had been previously. I hope you did not have to sacrifice too much for the faster load times.

Though this may sound a bit cheesy, I think you can add the image of the turntable arm to your preloaders, or even on the initial page, that would suggest to your visitors during their wait time what they could expect.

Lastly, if you would like some further speed, you might want to check out the other forums and so a search on swf compression software. Many are low cost, some even have trial versions. This may also help with your file sizes and show no or little degredation in your file quality.

Again, nice work. Glad I came back to visit.
