    Themed Photography :: Week 7 :: REFLECTIONS

Sorry for the delay on the new theme, I had client meetings all day on Friday and was catching up on yard work earlier today...enough with the excuses...

    H O L Y S H I Z Z L E !!!!!

This was THE BEST WEEK EVER. Superb submissions by oo7jeep (ultra cool), ctranter (crisp), asheep_uk (creative), carly1979 (expressive), MechaPiano (ShawEEEEETness), littleMatt (superb, as always), gerbick (smoov), aversion (FINALLY!!!!!!), nordberg (focused), clicky2 (oportunistic and nice), david petley (sweet again), squidlips (breakin da' rulez, but shizzle nontheless), and Happy Pixel (detailed).

I must say that I am super impressed with everyones submissions. I had a lot of difficulty seeing in black and white and totally bow to the tallent showed here during this week

Seeing as how no one wanted to contribute to theme ideas, this week's theme will be REFLECTIONS.

Get to it! Reflect on your life, or show some creative reflections.

    As always, the Ru|3z:
    • This is NOT a PhotoShop battle it is a photography battle. Only slightly touched up photos may be submitted.
    • Let's keep the file and image size under FK guidelines (under 700 px wide).
    • All photographs must be related to the current weekly theme.
    • Photographs must be taken by the idividual posting (no stealing photos).
    • Use any camera (ie. cellphone, point-and-shoot, disposable) just submit!
    • Multiple submission are welcomed.
    • Photos must be no more than a week old. Take some NEW pictures people!

Have fun, get creative, post as often as you like.

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is that. Did you spill strawberry syrup in your desk?

LOL...have you ever seen those gel wrist supports to help avoid or overcome RSI type strains?
That is one of them, placed just in front of my keyboard (you can see the edge and shadow at the top of the image).

I have a shelf on my desk with my monitor, and below that shelf is a fluoro strip-light to light my keyboard and desktop (avoids glare).

I set up my digicam on it's little tripod and used the remote control so that I could get the type of long exposure I wanted...2 - 3 seconds I think.

I think it would look great as a wallpaper.

By the way, tomorrow I think I'm going to this place:

It's a closed hotel on top of a mountain next to Caracas, 2000 m above sea level, and from there you can see the whole city on one side and the caribbean sea on the other. An amazing view

I'll do my best to take a few pictures with my crappy camera (pictures of the sun reflected off the Caribbean would fit quite nicely in this thread )
