comments on new site i designed

shaking in my boots, expecting criticism...here's the site i finished designing! www.pokerjob.com

my main complaint is the gradient menu items to the left. Gradients unless used well create an undesireable cheese aspect to sites that i don't usually enjoy.

so is it cheesy or have the gradients been used well?

it's a complain. so it's cheesey... don't just drop a gradient cause you can.

well, i hadnt used gradient initially, but did later on, as u can see. it sort of added glitter to the design, keeping in mind its a poker site, and we're talking money here. so even if using gradients is termed as cheesy, i think it goes with the look of the site...what do u say?
