Hey guys, I'm working on this new website and I need some feedback. I think my preloaders are not working, any thoghts regarding design, navigation... but the preloaders is what worries me, if you find anything pls tell what browser are you using. Any mac users, I had problems running it in safari.
    Thanks!

i think it is nice, but these are my comments.

i don't like the flashing loader... try something smoother, a simple progress bar or percentage under the logo? (maybe that's what you mean about the preloader).

i don't like the text on top of the food pictures on the menu. they need to be seperate somehow. food from picture. it isn't appetizing when i see type on food for some reason.

alot of the font's and typography need work, they are hard to read and don't look very professional.

i am not crazy about the shades of green and red either, seems like they could be adjusted to fit the warm earthy photography better.

the navigation thing is cool at first but it gets a little gimicky after 1 or 2 go rounds and i just want to get some content... try and have an alternate nav to get around quicker once i have seen that.

i guess i can sum up by saying, a little more focus on content, a little less on flash tricks.

yes, if they are supposed to flash like that as things load, then yes, they are working.

download times seemed average... fine. i am on cable though, so everything loads pretty good here.

Atmospherically, the i think the design fits the subject. I would agree with some of things already said. The preloader (which works) is annoying. The menu system is nice on the first screen but having to go back to it everytime is tiresome. Instead of just having a back button on the left have the menu there.
Also, the menu icon on the menu bar is so dark that I didnt even realise it was there until i read admedia's post and went looking for it. Not sure what you could do with the text on top of the pictures. And what does habitues mean?

Personally, I like the red and green I think it works with the company's logo. I also think the transitions are smooth and effective. 90% there, but looking good.

    ...

the menu is cool but defently the animation on it needs to be speeded up alot. Also since your menu is taking up the whole first page you dont know what the site is about when you go into it? The home page always needs that.
