i need help spicing up my Flash designing style

I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm not using enough textures? Photographs?

How would you describe a Flash site/intro that is too "plain"?

Since most of you guys have seen alot of creative Flash interface designs and animations, what design trends are currently en-vogue, and which aren't?

When I first started I was looking for the same advice and what I found was that once I focused in on my design skills w/photoshop and taking time designing the layout, my sites became a lot more interesting.

if you re using a minimal style - use more as type functions and effects.

a 247 old style-add ornaments or fancy borders.

futuristic. - notice the color and the gradients

general - a nice clor scheme. functional layout.clear pixel fonts. to my opinion pixel font are ESSENTIAL to Flash sites.
