Apple / Win compatability problems

I have a CD which was burned on a MAC and cannot be read from a PC, any ideas how I can get the info off it as its saying that there is info on the CD, like 240 missing mb.

find someone with a mac / copy it and burn an iso pc disc.

They're called Macs, as in, short for Macintosh, not Medium Access Control (MAC).

Discs burned using OS 9 etc won't work. The easiest way to do it is to find a friend with OS X. Copy the contents, then insert a new CD and copy them onto there.

Discs burned using Mac OS X work fine with Windows.

unless they are burned as a hybrid or ISO pc compatible disc

MAC and Mac are two different things. I just pisses me off.

easiest way would be getting the trial version of Mac Drive. Makes Mac disks (hd, cd, etc.) readable on Win. Linky

how can that be the "easiest" way?..if they already have all the tools needed built into the OS..wheather its 9 or X?

maybe i don't get it but i think he wants to read a mac disk on a pc. so i think it would be easier to download a program instead of finding someone with a mac to burn it again...i agree if he has to swap files some more times

I suppose you are correct.

For "this" specific disk/situation...

I gues I speaking more in general...of future situations..liek others were talking about...instead of helping the initial thread.
