    need help with Yugop-like menu....

    i have this menu, but when i publish it for FlashPlayer 7 it seems to work ok the first time, then i get these "undefined" values where numbers used to be. could someone help?...

    also, the menu should go back to it's original state when you roll off.....and it often doesn't...

    I did not check your coding, but 2 things could be the cause that are different between F6 and F7:
    Code is now case-sensitive : 'gotoandplay' will not work in F7.
    Also, and that's most likely the problem, variables must be declared first before using them.

    thanks for responding.....

    i know it's not it's not a case sensitivity issue......
    should the output window give me some sort of error messages if there is a coding issue??

    only other question is what exactly do you mean by declaring variables before i use them??...

    sorry...teaching flash and AS to myself.....so i'm kinda clueless at times....
