    Template, imaging, style review

    Hi there,

I know this is an html site. So given that, I'm posting a link to a template thats been created and I would like to get some constructive criticisim. Some background info is that the site will be used to sell software. My background is application development and backend website work.

So with that in mind, what should the site look like in terms of imaging and style?

    Site Template

    Thx,

    -Z

    Not bad.
I don't think the background suits in terms of feel.

The gradients are a bit poor I'm afraid. If this is to be a commercial site I think it will have look a lot better.

Not sure if its intentional or not but the top nav bar is'nt lined up with the blue next to the logo

    The background looks fine.
The gradients don't work, the colors are too much. Try finding a different shade of blue, maybe with some more gray in it (if that is the color you see there).
The navigation doesn’t make too much sense either. Why have two 'home' and 'contact' links?
Try making the gray block area on the right uniform with the one on the left.

    Hope this helps

I agree with everyones crits here.

I think there is something wrong with your table code. When I first hit the site it loads like this (notice the top navbar in the bottom right corner).
