has anynoe ever tried to make a game like madness interactive?

if you have then i think you will agree that its a prety cool game

theres:
multiple weapons
pick ups
enemies with different weapons
and more

anyway i was just wondering how i could make some of these things
i dont want everything done for me i would just like to know how it could be done

As far as I remember his ("Krinkels", right?) code is open source. I once saw it and it was probably the messiest code I've ever seen with hundreds of onEnterFrames. >:(

Yeah, theres like 100s of mods for that game. The code is VERY messy... but krinkles didnt code it out. Flecko.net did
