    Themed Photography :: Week 16 :: TIME

Every week just gets better and better. I am truely amazed at the level of skill that gets displayed here every day! It is also nice to know that some of you are expanding your skills as a result of this little project. (I hope you are enjoying your new toy carly1979 )

Thanks for the them ideas, please keep them coming!!!

Well, I think it's about time that we get to the new week's theme, it's all about TIME.

Use this week's theme creatively and let's see those photos!!

    As always, the Ru|3z:
    • This is NOT a PhotoShop battle it is a photography battle. Only slightly touched up photos may be submitted.
    • Let's keep the file and image size under FK guidelines (under 750 px wide).
    • All photographs must be related to the current weekly theme.
    • Photographs must be taken by the idividual posting (no stealing photos).
    • Use any camera (ie. cellphone, point-and-shoot, disposable) just submit!
    • Multiple submission are welcomed.
    • Photos must be no more than a week old. Take some NEW pictures people!

Have fun, get creative, post as often as you like.

damn skate....wow that is an amazing shot.

I will go out tomorrow and get a few, but it is going to be tough to take the top spot this week from skate.

A little far fetched. Beauty sleep ( 8 hours ). Or night time.

Thanks. I have just made a really small photo studio in my small apartment with some cheap slave flashes, umbrellas and big paper backgrounds. This was one of the first testshots with it ( and my new camera ). The model is a client ( made her website ). I wish all my clients looked like that.

    very cool.
i think using a model (other than your grandma) has not been used for 'themed photography' yet.
    great contribution!

My Daughter says the reason I never have company is because no one can stand the clocks! :-) I love them! Even my computer has a clock that chimes! Not nearly as pretty though!

And last but not least....... Nap Time! Aren't they adorable!!!

Sorry that post was misleading... I guess I should just shut-up unless I have something to post. I was referring to the 2 already posted.

Love the "nap time" shot MsPamela.

I just got back from hiking along a dammed river (not cursed) and got some good shots. Once I figure out how to make them fit into the "time" catagory I'll post them.

this thread has made me realize something.

there are no clocks in my house.

    I will upload mine soonish.

Oh my goodness!! How can anyone function without a clock?? :-) I supose you have an internal clock. If I ever go blind from these computer screens, I guess I will have my clocks to tell me the time! LOL

I think tomorrow I will go into town and see what kind of "time" photos I can drum up! Lets see........ there are clocks on the towers, clocks on the banques, the railway station, Ooooh! Tickets.......there is a time stamp on them.......and the departure and arrival signs........ OK! ROAD TRIP! :-) We should have a scavanger hunt next week EV! That would be fun!

I like that idea; a photo scavanger hunt. How would you set that up? Have like 10 or so abstract ideas like "time" and "blue" and see what people come up with? Each person would have to post 1 image for every item in the list. Could be fun!

  20. #20
Yes, I think that would be a good number...... 10 things on a list that have to do with the theme...... like this weeks theme being "Time" we could have a list of 10 things to do with time and we would all have to go out or look around the house, and find these things. First one to get all ten things on the list, gets to choose the theme for the following week!!!! LOL The one with the most unusual photo gets to make the scavanger list!

How's that for deligation EP? :-)
