I've been working on this site for a little while and at this point I can't tell if the site is really boring with a so-so design. Any feedback, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated. I rather start over than have this up. Thanks.

It seems a bit amateurish, which if you are new, then it's good. I am going to write the rest of this assuming you are not, so don't take it to heart if you just started.

It seems a little cheesy and conventional. There is nothing that holds my attention, everything is so dry. Try getting some color in there, or more interesting transitions. I can tell you have more ability then this site shows, just spend some time doing the best work you can do, challenge yourself.

Its a good site. Some changes I would make is to speed up things a little. All the animations in your transitions could be faster. Also, dont use the standard component buttons in your text fields (on the resume).

Maybe add another meaningful splash of color to some of the screen's that have no colorized elements... an icon or something that helps get your "message" out there...
Kind of like the Gatorade commercial's where they usually colorize 1 thing like sweat on the jogger...lol.
It's overall nice though.
Also I gotta say...
Isn't Flash re-sizeable I don't understand locking the site at like 640 x 480... I've long since stepped up my html designs to 765 pixels wide to @ least fill a 600x800 screen...
Learning some CSS to make them totally liquid someday, when applicable.
