What did or do you want to be when you grow up?

When you grow up what do you want to be? Or what did you want to be when you were younger?

Like a Pharmacist or engineer? or whatever?

Wanted to be an Architect, until I met one.

wanted to do animation or computer programming. have done both, haven't really returned to either.

now? I don't know. Need to land at a R&D or magazine perhaps. Working on that now, actually.

Wanted to be an electrical engineer, tried it out for a year, failed miserably.

2nd option was architecture, so I tried Civil Engineering (figured it was pretty close) failed miserably.

Somehow I ended up in graphic design. Go figure.

Ranulph Fiennes, the explorer, visited my primary school when I was younger (this was before he was a Knight) and he asked that same question to a bunch of kids.

A girl who was only about 8 proudly put her hand up and exclaimed that she wanted to be a butterfly when she was older. I haven't seen her for a while, so perhaps she managed it...

There's a million and one things I'd like to be when I'm older - ranging from a paramedic to a restaurant owner.

Perhaps you really pissed someone off and they sought their revenge by taking 3 posts from you. Or maybe someone deleted a thread that you posted in. I know that when you delete a thread of yours it takes the post count down but I dont know how that effects people other than the guy deleting the thread. It dosent seem right to take other peoples count away.

Then when I realized that someday I'd need to choose a profession, I decided I wanted to be an inventor, and specifically, i wanted to be like this guy.

I also wanted to be a hollywood actor, a movie director and a musician.

I still have time to make my dreams come true, so I have no worries yet

I wanted to be an ornithologist, until we had a school project to interview somebody who did whatever we wanted to do. I went to the guy's house and he made me come into his garage, where he had huge dressers all over the place... and inside each drawer was a layer of dead birds with their wings spread out and their eyes rolled back.

Along with the upgrade, Flash Kit is getting a little Spring Cleaning. Old forums that "are no longer here" were still being stored in the database. Some odd 60,000 posts from retired forums were removed earlier today, and yes this will affect your post counts. I would expect that more is on the way.
