[REVIEW] 600 mountain-bike height meters later

I've taken this shots at the top of my last mountainbike tour. The name of this "mountain" is "Hüttchopf" about 14km and 600 height meters on the bike from where I life (near Zürich, Switzerland). The digicam used is the tiny Sony DSC-T1 and of course I used Photoshop for some level and color corrections.

I would have loved to take some shots with a digital SLR, but that would be to dangerous on my mountainbike tours.

Yeah, it's more fun, but testing your physical limits can be very interesting as well, especialy when you know that every additional hm adds to the length of the following downhill part. Not that this 600hm made me reach my limits anyway.

I'm using a waistpack, but your right, a nice camelbak would solve some problems, like having enough water with me for longer tours without having to refill the small waistpack bottle all the time.

I was on a tower at the other side of the valley today, so I thought why not make a shot of the "mountain" of the above shots.

This is the tower (it's nearly on the same height as the mountain of the above shots):


And this is the view from the tower:


The mountain is actualy not the highest point you see there, it's a bit on the left of it where you see some brown.

i always chuckle when i look at pictures of "mountians" like these because i would consider these to be hills, not mountians. A mountian in my oppinon looks more like this:

Hills like that are only mountains when your trying to get up them without an engine.
