hell. I have an old logitech where the letters have all but been worn out.

but this does look like one of those old, super-clicky IBM keyboards o' destruction - it could double for a baseball bat, easily - and those things were great.

    Works with Mac too, eh?

Since there is no key to look at when typing, your brain will quickly adapt and memorize the key positions and you will find yourself typing a lot faster with more accuracy in no time.
Decades of actually looking at the keys didn't make me any faster, how is that going to help?

dunno. I tend to type in the dark, and I'm faster when I don't really seem to be "paying attention"...

anyway. all gimmick and hype. I still would like one though.

Have you ever tried not to look at the keys then?

Try close your eyes and type.

I took typing class in Jr. High. passed it too. 50 wpm to pass. but that was like, um, I don't want to tell how long ago.

Now I use my two middle fingers and my right thumb for the space key. Sometimes I drop into the groove though and it comes back for a couple minutes and I scare myself.

On the other hand, who cares? You type too fast, your liable to say something you don't mean.

On a slightly un-related note, all modern keyboards suck.

What's with this elongated delete key garbage, and the half-size backspace key? Then they start messing around with F-keys, making them small round buttons, not keys, or grouping them in 3's.

    And the cords...3 frigging feet?!

/recently bought and returned 3 different keyboards in a week.

I think the mouse cord that came with my G4 a couple years ago... yea the mouse that operates like a stapler... i think the cord on that is like 18 inches... but i guess that's cause you can plug in into that piece of crap keybord.

THis is a good mouse. mine isn't the black limited edition though.

I actually use one of These right now.

I can't find a decent USB keyboard though... that dell you've got sounds good.
