I think seeing Judas Priest and Kiss
in the 3rd grade had some impact on my current taste.

Good old mom and dad!
My 2 brothers and I would probably have destroyed the house though if the didn't take us. We were Kiss fanatics back then. Floor to ceiling posters and Kiss LPs playing 24/7.
They actually enjoyed it too.. that was when Kiss started going a little vegas
Anyways... I don't want to Hijack this to Kiss.
Teddy Ruxpin.
I hardly rember what the hell that was.
I must have been too old .

An Inconvenient Serving Size
I arrived in the States in 1980.
To this day I'm dearly grateful to the friend that turned me on to Rush before Kiss had a chance to take hold. What a bunch of arse that was.

Hijack continues...
I liked Rush too when I got a little older to see that there actually were other bands out there making cool music ....
I think Kiss toured with Rush early on.

The injustice there is that Rush was probably the warm-up act.

The left channel audio was all beeps and blop type noises, to work the eyes and mouth I guess, the right channel was the story...
Oh the nights of halloween fun I had making the bear say scary things!

I think the problem is after the 90's alt Rock thing,
the more 'underground' or 'punk' music scene became mainstream,
it's all RockNRoll to me now though and I like alot of todays music.

not going to lie, but some main steam rap has good hear catching beats. Lyrics on the other hand are still crap as always...
but I will honestly say I can stand any type of music other then country. That just annoys me beyond belief. Hate the music and hate the lyrics even more.
*exception*
Johnny Cash is amazing.
