CD-R/RW or DVD+/-R/RW Drive Refuse to Burn?

    It's overheating!

For the longest time, I've been trying everything to get my burner to work right. Some may remember me posting a while ago about the possiblity of CDs some how getting corrupt. Well, it seems it had nothing to do with the CDs. Nor were all of the different programs I used needed or the amount of times I uninstalled/reinstalled them.

I noticed that after a burn, it would not recognize the media anymore which led me to speculate the problem as being heat related. My burner used to sit right underneath my CD-ROM drive and there were two 5 1/4 bays open below, so I moved the burner down two. Hopefully it should create enough of a gap.

I also turned on my two extra 80mm fans in the back of the case, so if I can finally burn a CD whenever I need to, I suppose I can put up with my case sounding like a Boeing taking off.

So, just a little tip I thought I'd pass along.
